About Me

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My creative streak has shaped my life in many ways taking me to University where I gained a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration way back in 2001 and then into the world of Graphic Design where I still reside.

Growing up in rural Bedfordshire I am surrounded by many beautiful places to walk and enjoy, Ampthill Great Park, The Firs in Ampthill and the Woburn estate to name a few, giving me much artistic inspiration throughout the years! You can see some of these places on the artwork page, but my real passion is portraits.

Over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for 'God's creation' and the subtle details that make each person or pet unique. My passion for portraiture and capturing that 'character and likeness' has a special place in my heart especially after my dad died. Re-discovering this gift really helped me to find peace through that period of my life. As a result I decided to set up creation artworks to work alongside my day job and offer unique portrait commissions.
